Introducing Hand & Lock's Autumn/Winter 2023 Folk Collection. Drawing inspiration from nature and the whimsical folk style of William Morris, this collection is a celebration of pattern and colour.
This whimsical woodland scene, captured in a folk art style, has been machine embroidered onto luxurious black silk velvet using threads of silky rayon, metallic and soft cotton. Featuring an electric blue celestial moon, acorns and folky flowers, a romantic turtle dove, winter berries, a charming bunny rabbit and mini mushrooms. We loved creating this original design, taking inspiration from traditional folk art & folk embroidery with the addition of decorative trims and borders.
